Police Officers Get Extra Vacation Hours in Settlement of FLSA Claims

Hundreds of police officers in Oakland, Calif. , will be awarded 130 hours each of extra vacation leave in a settlement of claims that the city violated the Fair Labor Standards Act by failing to pay the officers for all their overtime hours and improperly calculated their regular rates of pay.
